Privacy Policy

The short version

We have no server, no user accounts and no analytics. First AD stores your work on your own Mac, and we never receive it.

But "we don't collect it" is not the same as "it never leaves your machine." If you turn on the optional AI features, your script text and the names in it are sent — using your own API key — directly to the AI provider you chose. Call sheets go out through your own mail server. Building a call sheet sends the location's coordinates to a weather service and the address to Apple's geocoder. Every one of those is spelled out below.

What First AD stores, and where

Everything First AD creates lives in one folder on your Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/FirstAD/. That includes your projects and snapshots, breakdown sheets and elements, boards and schedules, shot lists, storyboard and mood-board images, crew contacts with their phone numbers and emails, tasks, call-sheet state, recipient lists, delivery logs, the assistant transcript, the learned element dictionary, and a copy of every screenplay you import and every file you export.

There is no cloud project store, no sync and no backup on our side. If your Mac is lost, so is the work — please keep your own backups.

Your API keys and your mail password are kept in the macOS Keychain, not in any project file and not in any file we can read. Your mail server's host, port and sender address are stored in the app's ordinary preferences file, unencrypted; the username and password are not.

What we collect about you

Nothing. First AD has no account system, no login, no user identifier, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting and no update checker. It never contacts a Studio NightShift server, because there isn't one. The app contains no third-party SDKs at all — it links only Apple's own system frameworks.

Where your data can go — third parties, named

First AD makes network requests in exactly five situations. Four of them require you to supply your own account key first; one happens automatically when you work on a call sheet. Nothing else in the app touches the network.

Anthropic — the AI features (your own key)

Only if you have entered an Anthropic API key and used an AI feature. What is sent depends on the feature and can include: the full text of the scenes you run it on, sluglines and scene numbers, your project title, cast and character names, scene synopses and notes, set names, shoot dates, page counts, board and unit names, whatever you type into the assistant, and — if you use the analog shot-list import — a photo you supplied.

The research features use Anthropic's server-side web search, which means the query text (which can include your shooting city and dates) also reaches Anthropic's search subprocessor.

The request is authenticated with your key, so your relationship and your contract are with Anthropic. Their terms and retention rules apply, not ours. Please note that the model First AD uses by default requires your Anthropic organisation to allow at least 30-day data retention; organisations set to zero retention are automatically served by a different model instead.

WaveSpeed AI and fal.ai — storyboard and mood-board image generation (your own key)

Only if you have entered an image-provider key and pressed Generate. What is sent: the image prompt, which is built from your character names, set names, interior/exterior and day/night, the shot's subject and action, and your frame captions — plus any reference images you attached or previously generated. No addresses, phone numbers or emails are sent. Both providers serve Google's image model, so Google is a downstream recipient of that prompt and those reference images.

The request uses your key and you are billed by that provider directly.

Open-Meteo — call-sheet weather (no key, no account)

What is sent: the latitude and longitude of your shooting location and the shoot date. Nothing else — no name, no address string, no identifier.

This one is not opt-in. As well as the explicit Fetch button, the lookup also runs when you preview a call sheet, export it as PDF, or open the send flow. If a call-sheet day has a location, working on that sheet will send its coordinates.

Apple — geocoding, nearest hospital, and calendar

The address you type into a location field is sent to Apple's geocoder to turn it into coordinates, to find the nearest hospital, and to estimate drive times for company moves. This happens on the same triggers as the weather lookup.

If you use Sync to Calendar, shoot-day titles, dates, location strings and per-day notes (scene numbers, interior/exterior, set names, day/night) are written to your Mac's calendar. If that calendar belongs to an iCloud, Google or Exchange account, it will sync onward to that provider under their terms.

Your own mail server, and your recipients — call-sheet distribution

There is no Studio NightShift server anywhere in this path. Call sheets leave your Mac through the mail account you configured, to the recipients you approved, and only after you press Approve & Send and confirm the exact recipient count.

What is sent is the call-sheet PDF and everything on it — crew names, roles, phone numbers, email addresses, location addresses, the nearest hospital's name, address and phone, and call times. Each recipient gets an individual message addressed only to them, so the recipient list is never disclosed to the crew. Your mail provider and each recipient's mail provider handle that message under their own terms.

TRANSPORT: YOUR SMTP ACCOUNT

Your Contacts database, your call-sheet recipient lists and your delivery logs are never included in any AI request. First AD does not read your macOS Contacts, Photos, camera, microphone or location, and does not request permission for any of them.

Turning it off

The AI features are optional and off until you add a key. Without one, the entire working path — importing a screenplay, the breakdown, the scheduling engine, the board, the calendar, the Day Out of Days, reports, call sheets and Set Mode — runs with no internet and no key at all, forever.

You can withdraw that consent at any time: Settings ▸ AI ▸ Remove key. The AI surfaces lock again immediately and every deterministic feature keeps working. Removing your mail settings stops call-sheet sending the same way.

Deleting your data

Because your data is on your machine, deletion is yours to perform and it is genuinely complete.

  • Deleting a project removes the project document and snapshots, the AI assistant transcript, the breakdown queue and cache, the element dictionary, the calendar-link file, the call-sheet folder with its recipients and delivery log, and the whole project folder including your imported screenplay copies, generated images and archived exports — in one step.
  • Settings ▸ App Data shows you what is actually on disk per project with its size, including leftovers from projects that no longer exist, and lets you remove any of it.
  • The assistant's "Clear conversation" permanently deletes that project's AI transcript.

Three honest caveats. First: deletion moves data to the macOS Trash, which is restorable by design — you must empty the Trash for it to be gone. Second: calendar events already pushed to your calendar are not removed, because the sync has no delete path at all; delete them in your calendar app if you want them gone, and remember they may already have synced to iCloud, Google or Exchange. Third: your API keys stay in the Keychain until you remove them in Settings.

Data already sent to a provider is held by that provider under their policy. To have it deleted, contact them directly with the account whose key you used. We cannot do it for you — we have no access to your account and no record that the request happened.

Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, if you are in the European Economic Area, the GDPR, you have the right to know what personal data is held about you, to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to complain to a supervisory authority — in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

In practice we hold no personal data about you at all, so there is nothing for us to produce, correct or erase. The lawful basis for the optional AI, weather, geocoding and mail features is your consent, given by adding a key or configuring an account, and withdrawable at any time as described above.

Children

First AD is professional film-production software and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.

This website

studionightshift.co is hosted by Squarespace, which sets a small number of cookies of its own and records standard server logs including IP addresses. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts of our own, and the site has no forms — the contact links open your own mail app. Fonts are loaded from third-party font services, which receive your IP address as part of that request.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how your data is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.

Sunucumuz, kullanıcı hesabımız ve analitiğimiz yok. First AD çalışmanızı kendi Mac'inizde saklar; biz onu hiçbir zaman almayız.

First AD neyi nerede saklar

First AD'nin ürettiği her şey Mac'inizdeki tek bir klasörde durur: ~/Library/Application Support/FirstAD/. Buna projeleriniz, çekim kartları ve unsurlar, board'lar ve programlar, çekim listeleri, storyboard ve mood board görselleri, telefon ve e-postalarıyla birlikte ekip kişileriniz, görevler, call sheet verileri, alıcı listeleri, gönderim kayıtları, asistan yazışması, öğrenilmiş unsur sözlüğü ve içe aktardığınız her senaryonun, dışa aktardığınız her dosyanın birer kopyası dâhildir.

Bizim tarafımızda bulut deposu, senkronizasyon veya yedek yoktur. Mac'iniz kaybolursa çalışma da kaybolur — lütfen kendi yedeğinizi alın.

API anahtarlarınız ve e-posta parolanız macOS Anahtar Zinciri'nde tutulur; hiçbir proje dosyasında ve bizim okuyabileceğimiz hiçbir yerde değildir. E-posta sunucunuzun adresi, portu ve gönderen adresi uygulamanın olağan tercihler dosyasında şifresiz durur; kullanıcı adı ve parola durmaz.

Sizinle ilgili neyi topluyoruz

Hiçbir şeyi. First AD'de hesap sistemi, giriş, kullanıcı kimliği, telemetri, analitik, çökme raporlaması ve güncelleme denetleyicisi yoktur. Studio NightShift sunucusuna hiç bağlanmaz, çünkü öyle bir sunucu yoktur. Uygulamada hiçbir üçüncü taraf SDK'sı bulunmaz; yalnızca Apple'ın kendi sistem çatıları kullanılır.

  • Anthropic — yapay zekâ özellikleri (kendi anahtarınız). Yalnızca bir Anthropic API anahtarı girip bir AI özelliğini kullanırsanız. Gönderilenler özelliğe göre değişir ve şunları içerebilir: üzerinde çalıştırdığınız sahnelerin tam metni, sahne başlıkları ve numaraları, proje adınız, oyuncu ve karakter isimleri, sahne özetleri ve notlar, mekân adları, çekim tarihleri, sayfa sayıları, board ve birim adları, asistana yazdığınız her şey ve — analog çekim listesi aktarımını kullanırsanız — yüklediğiniz fotoğraf. Adres, telefon veya e-posta gönderilmez. Her iki sağlayıcı da Google'ın görsel modelini sunar; dolayısıyla Google bu istemin ve referans görsellerin alt alıcısıdır. Ücretlendirme doğrudan o sağlayıcı tarafından yapılır.
  • Open-Meteo — call sheet hava durumu (anahtar yok, hesap yok). Gönderilen: çekim mekânınızın enlem-boylamı ve çekim tarihi. Başka hiçbir şey — isim yok, adres metni yok, kimlik yok. Bu, isteğe bağlı değildir: açık "Getir" düğmesinin yanı sıra, bir call sheet'i önizlediğinizde, PDF olarak dışa aktardığınızda veya gönderim akışını açtığınızda da çalışır.
  • Apple — adres çözümleme, en yakın hastane ve takvim. Mekân alanına yazdığınız adres, koordinata çevrilmek üzere Apple'ın adres çözümleyicisine gönderilir; en yakın hastaneyi bulmak ve şirket taşınmaları için sürüş süresi tahmin etmek de aynı yolu kullanır. Tetikleyicileri hava durumuyla aynıdır. "Takvime Aktar"ı kullanırsanız çekim günü başlıkları, tarihler, mekân metinleri ve gün notları (sahne numaraları, iç/dış, mekân adları, gündüz/gece) Mac'inizin takvimine yazılır; o takvim bir iCloud, Google veya Exchange hesabına aitse oraya da senkronlanır.
  • Kendi e-posta sunucunuz ve alıcılarınız — call sheet dağıtımı. Bu yolda hiçbir Studio NightShift sunucusu yoktur. Call sheet'ler Mac'inizden sizin yapılandırdığınız e-posta hesabıyla, sizin onayladığınız alıcılara, yalnızca "Onayla ve Gönder"e basıp tam alıcı sayısını teyit ettikten sonra çıkar. Gönderilen, call sheet PDF'i ve üzerindeki her şeydir: ekip isimleri, görevler, telefonlar, e-postalar, mekân adresleri, en yakın hastanenin adı-adresi-telefonu ve çağrı saatleri. Her alıcı yalnızca kendisine yazılmış ayrı bir ileti alır; alıcı listesi ekibe hiçbir zaman açılmaz.

Kişiler veritabanınız, call sheet alıcı listeleriniz ve gönderim kayıtlarınız hiçbir yapay zekâ isteğine dâhil edilmez. First AD macOS Kişiler'inizi, Fotoğraflar'ınızı, kameranızı, mikrofonunuzu veya konumunuzu okumaz ve bunlar için izin istemez.

Kapatmak

Yapay zekâ özellikleri isteğe bağlıdır ve siz bir anahtar eklemedikçe kapalıdır. Anahtarsız hâlde tüm çalışma yolu — senaryo aktarımı, çekim kartı çıkarma, planlama motoru, board, takvim, Day Out of Days, raporlar, call sheet'ler ve Set Modu — internetsiz ve anahtarsız, süresiz olarak çalışır.

Rızanızı istediğiniz an geri çekebilirsiniz: Ayarlar ▸ AI ▸ Anahtarı kaldır. AI yüzeyleri anında yeniden kilitlenir, belirlenimci özelliklerin tamamı çalışmaya devam eder. E-posta ayarlarınızı kaldırmak da call sheet gönderimini aynı şekilde durdurur.

Verinizi silmek

Veriniz sizin makinenizde olduğu için silme işlemi sizindir ve gerçekten eksiksizdir.

  • Bir projeyi silmek proje belgesini ve anlık görüntülerini, yapay zekâ asistanı yazışmasını, çekim kartı kuyruğunu ve önbelleğini, unsur sözlüğünü, takvim bağlantı dosyasını, alıcıları ve gönderim kaydıyla birlikte call sheet klasörünü ve içe aktarılmış senaryo kopyaları, üretilmiş görseller ve arşivlenmiş dışa aktarımlar dâhil tüm proje klasörünü tek adımda kaldırır.
  • Ayarlar ▸ Uygulama Verisi diskte proje başına gerçekte ne olduğunu boyutlarıyla gösterir — artık var olmayan projelerden kalan artıklar dâhil — ve hepsini kaldırmanızı sağlar.
  • Asistanın "Konuşmayı temizle" seçeneği o projenin yapay zekâ yazışmasını kalıcı olarak siler.

Üç dürüst uyarı. Birincisi: silme, veriyi tasarım gereği geri alınabilir olan macOS Çöp Kutusu'na taşır — gerçekten gitmesi için Çöp Kutusu'nu boşaltmanız gerekir. İkincisi: takviminize daha önce aktarılmış etkinlikler silinmez, çünkü senkronizasyonun silme yolu hiç yoktur; istiyorsanız takvim uygulamanızdan silin ve iCloud/Google/Exchange'e çoktan senkronlanmış olabileceklerini unutmayın. Üçüncüsü: API anahtarlarınız, Ayarlar'dan kaldırana kadar Anahtar Zinciri'nde kalır.

Bir sağlayıcıya çoktan gönderilmiş veri, o sağlayıcının politikası kapsamında onlarda durur. Silinmesi için anahtarını kullandığınız hesapla doğrudan onlara başvurmanız gerekir. Bunu sizin adınıza yapamayız — hesabınıza erişimimiz ve isteğin gerçekleştiğine dair hiçbir kaydımız yoktur.

Haklarınız

6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı'ndaysanız GDPR uyarınca; hakkınızda hangi kişisel verilerin tutulduğunu öğrenme, bunlara erişme, düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini isteme, işlenmesine itiraz etme veya işlemeyi sınırlandırma, veri taşınabilirliği ve bir denetim makamına — Türkiye'de Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na — şikâyette bulunma haklarına sahipsiniz.

Uygulamada hakkınızda hiçbir kişisel veri tutmuyoruz; dolayısıyla sunacağımız, düzelteceğimiz veya sileceğimiz bir şey yok. İsteğe bağlı yapay zekâ, hava durumu, adres çözümleme ve e-posta özelliklerinin hukuki dayanağı, anahtar ekleyerek veya hesap yapılandırarak verdiğiniz ve yukarıda anlatıldığı gibi istediğiniz an geri çekebileceğiniz açık rızanızdır.

Çocuklar

First AD profesyonel film yapım yazılımıdır ve çocuklara yönelik değildir. Hiç kimseden, hiçbir yaşta, bilerek veri toplamıyoruz.

Bu web sitesi

studionightshift.co Squarespace tarafından barındırılır; Squarespace kendi adına az sayıda çerez koyar ve IP adresleri dâhil standart sunucu kayıtları tutar. Bizim kendi analitiğimiz, reklam pikselimiz veya takip betiğimiz yoktur ve sitede form bulunmaz — iletişim bağlantıları kendi e-posta uygulamanızı açar. Yazı tipleri üçüncü taraf yazı tipi servislerinden yüklenir; bu istek sırasında IP adresiniz onlara ulaşır.

Değişiklikler

Bu politika değişirse sayfanın başındaki yürürlük tarihini güncelleriz. Verinizin işlenme biçimini etkileyen esaslı değişiklikler ayrıca uygulamanın sürüm notlarında da belirtilir.
